Save The Whales - Cooperative Board Game About Whales
The art, the cooperative game concepts and the challenge made it our most requested board game since we invented it in 1978. Here in the spirit of kinship with Nature, players work together to save 8 great whales: Bowhead, Fin, Blue, Gray, Humpback, Right, Sperm and Orca. Meanwhile, oil spills, radioactive waste and catcher ships are moving these great whales toward extinction just as in real life. Players earn survival points and make group decisions to save the whales. Misjudgments or a string of bad luck may cause the ship to catch a whale always a sad event. The game is realistic, highly educational and provides an hour's worth of fun. Children love to hold the shiny, cast metal whales and learn their names. 1 - 4 players is best but up to eight can play, ages 8 to adult (middle school student age is ideal). Invented by Ken and Jannice. It was our top selling product for over 20 years when we had our mail order company Animal Town.
